Recently, the Synthetic Biology Industry Chain Matchmaking Event, part of Zhejiang Province's "Ten Chains, Hundred Events, Ten Thousand Enterprises" series, was successfully held in Shaoxing. It is reported that the Yeast Biotech Synthetic Biology Industrial Base Project will establish a 1,500-ton high-concentration TG-form DHA/EPA production line and an R&D center, aiming to achieve green, efficient, and low-cost industrial production of lipid products. This project will not only fill a technological gap in related domestic fields but also strengthen Shaoxing's strategic layout in core segments of the synthetic biology industry, injecting new momentum into the regional economy.
Under the theme "Synthesizing Everything, Intelligently Linking the Future," the event facilitated in-depth integration of innovation and industry chains in bio-manufacturing through technology exhibitions, demand releases, and capital matchmaking.
